“Tough times never last, but tough people do!” — Robert Schuller

Mental health in the workplace is becoming an important issue these days. This concern has been progressively growing both nationally and internationally. In the Philippines, the most prevalent mental health condition is depression. Employees with depression, whether or not they have a diagnosis, have been found to miss more work or be less productive.

Taking care of one’s mental health at work is crucial. Though our knowledge of it is evolving, it is nevertheless important to review the basics, as they have an impact on your ability to perform your duties. In light of the rising mental health issues, companies that want to employ top performers must put psychological wellness at the top of their list of priorities.

At OceanClick, we believe that mental health is essential for the well-being of everyone. One of our goals is to cultivate a healthy work environment for our employees. We understand the value of having a healthy mind. Thus, as part of our intervention programs in addressing such issues, the company hosted a workshop on Mental Health and Stress Management last Sunday, September 18 with guest speaker Moses Joshua B. Atega.

The workshop was a very helpful tool for promoting positive mental health in the workplace. It helped employees understand how their behavior affects their mental health by educating them and providing strategies for dealing with work-related stress. Furthermore, it teaches our employees how to recognize mental health symptoms and get the help they need.

The workshop was a success and we are grateful to all participants who learned how to manage stress at work and thrive in a healthy workplace.

We would love to hear about your outsourcing needs and tell you more about what we do. Let's talk.
